Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Network Europe (GJJNE) is composed of:
Senior Instructors [Professor] (Black belt, 4th degree and above)
The entitled person (Braz. Professor de Jiu-Jitsu) represents in full the GJJNE. They are exempted from the annual fee, since they pay “Student Licenses” to the GJJNE Headquarters. He / she must hold at least 4th Degree Black belt by the GJJNE. This title is only given to teachers owning their own school or being at least an active teacher (instructor) under partnership with the GJJNE.
Full Instructors (Black belt, 2nd degree or above)
The entitled person (teacher) represents in full the GJJNE. They are exempted from the annual fee, in case they pay “Student Licenses” to the GJJNE Headquarters. A Full instructor can give up to Brown belt (Brazilian: FAIXA MARROM), if they hold themselves at least the 2nd Degree Black belt. Observe, that Black belts and higher Degrees (Braz. GRAUS) are awarded only by the GJJNE Headquarters.
The entitled person (Blue belt = coach, Purple belt / Brown belt = trainer, Black belt = instructor) represents the GJJNE under the supervision of a certified Full instructor. He / she must hold at least an advanced Blue belt (2. Stripes) or higher and is committed to participate during the all “Gracie Fundamentals" teachers courses as established by the GJJNE. The entitled person is NOT yet in the position to test or award any Belt at all; this must be done by one of the higher ranked teachers under the GJJNE or directly at the Gracie Concepts HQ.
He / she is a Jiu-Jitsu student / practitioner in one of the partner schools / clubs. They must pay an annual license fee (each calendar year). The entitled person has the right to be tested up to Black belt and to be promoted and certified by the GJJNE HQ free-of-charge.
